Youth Digital Meet Up (YDMU) is a community-driven platform dedicated to equipping young people in Iringa with the digital skills, knowledge, and connections they need to thrive in the modern economy.
To create an inclusive digital learning ecosystem that bridges the gap between Iringa's youth and technology, fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and professional growth through accessible education, mentorship, and community events.
A Tanzania where every young person has access to quality digital education and opportunities to become a creator, innovator, and leader in the digital economy, regardless of their background or location.
YDMU was founded in 2022 by a group of passionate young professionals in Iringa who saw the growing digital divide and decided to do something about it. What started as informal weekend meetups quickly grew into a structured platform for digital skills development.
Today, we host regular training events, workshops, and bootcamps covering topics from web development and graphic design to social media marketing and entrepreneurship. Our expert network spans across Tanzania, bringing world-class knowledge to Iringa's youth.
We believe that digital skills are not just about technology — they are about opportunity, self-reliance, and building a better future for our community.
We build for the community, by the community. Every decision is guided by what benefits Iringa's youth.
Digital education should be accessible to everyone. We offer free events, scholarships, and affordable courses.
We encourage creative thinking, experimentation, and embracing new technologies and ideas.
We maintain high standards in all we do — from course quality to event organization and mentorship.
We welcome everyone regardless of gender, background, or prior knowledge. All skill levels are celebrated.
We measure success by the real-world impact on our members' lives, careers, and businesses.
Be part of Iringa's fastest growing digital skills community. Attend events, take courses, and connect with like-minded youth.
